Keep a spare pair of suitable glasses in a protective case when driving, especially if you depend on them every day. Review your traffic file before starting. Unresolved requirements, incorrect contact details, or an expired identification record may interrupt the transaction. The eye test is only one part of the renewal, so passing it does not by itself guarantee that the renewed licence will be issued immediately.
